I wrote an app. Well Claude & I wrote an app. It is designed to enhance my performance on the course. The score input is designed to prevent me looking forward (i.e. projecting my score) or tracking my score (i.e. worrying if I am over or under where I want to be) so I stay in the present and play one shot at a time. The '7 Deadly Sins' are there to provide hindsight after the round into what went less well, and foresight by reminding me of the score killers like double bogeys. The app identifies common mistakes helping you refine your skills through tailored drills and engaging games available in the 'Practice' section. In the 'Perform' section, you'll learn what excellence looks like, enabling you to manage your expectations.

No caddy needed sections

The sections below provide a quick summary of the different elements available in the app.

Focus on capturing the score, and moving on rather than over (or under) par and projecting to your final score.

The '7 Deadly Sins' stats are designed to provide feedback on common (avoidable) mistakes and provide hindsight by focusing on not committing a 'deadly sin' mistake.

Perform section

This section enables golfers to be better at identifying what excellent looks like; for example, average proximity to the hole from different distances is not as close as televised highlight packages would suggest.
